DAY 1 – Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Azrou ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga Desert Camp

Your journey starts with an early morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Fes. As you travel south, the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains provide a stunning backdrop.

Your first stop is Ifrane, famous for its alpine-style architecture. The road continues through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaque monkeys.

After lunch in Midelt, you will pass through the magnificent Ziz Valley, one of Morocco's largest palm groves. By late afternoon, you arrive at Merzouga. This is where your camel caravan awaits. Ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun sets in hues of orange and gold.

DAY 2 – Merzouga ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Erfoud ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Dades Valley

Get up early for a stunning Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, you'll return to Merzouga and continue to Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco's Alaouite dynasty.

Next, visit Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorge. The river is flanked by towering limestone cliffs rising to almost 300 metres. We finish the day in the Dades Valley, renowned for its ancient kasbahs and unique "Monkey Fingers" rock formations.

DAY 3 – Dades Valley ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Marrakech

The day's highlight is a trip to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has featured in Gladiator and Game of Thrones. In the afternoon, you will cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, the highest mountain pass in North Africa at 2,260 metres.

Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your unforgettable 3-day Sahara experience ends.
