Erg Chebbi Dunes, Merzouga, Morocco
You aren't just "camping" in the desert. You are experiencing Moroccan glamping at its finest. Your journey begins at sunset, riding a camel across the golden peaks of the Erg Chebbi dunes as the colors shift from fiery orange to deep violet. By the time you reach us, the mint tea is hot, the campfire is lit, and our local Berber team is waiting to welcome you home.
On arrival, mint tea is waiting. Settle into your tent, freshen up, and when dinner is ready, you'll eat in the restaurant tent under a sky that keeps getting better as the night goes on. After dinner, the fire starts, and the Berber music begins — drums, warmth, strangers becoming friends. When the music winds down, the desert goes very quiet. Look up.
Wake up before dawn for the sunrise. The way the light spreads slowly across the dunes while the whole desert shifts colour in complete silence is one of those things photos never quite capture. After breakfast, ride back to Merzouga by camel or 4x4 — your choice.
We are a local family business. Unlike large travel agencies, we were born in the Sahara. For us, these dunes are home. We created this camp to show you the real desert—not the crowded tourist version. When you stay with us, you get:

Whether you're spending a night in our luxury desert camp, riding a camel across the dunes, or exploring the desert by 4x4, our goal is simple: to help you experience the Sahara in an authentic and memorable way.
Every guest is welcomed with genuine Berber hospitality and treated like a friend rather than a booking number.
A night in the desert is about more than just sleep. It's about the rhythm of the drums around the campfire, the thrill of sandboarding down a 150-meter dune, and waking up early enough to watch the first light of the sun hit the Sahara. Whether you want an adventure or a peaceful retreat, we make it happen.
The camp sits deep within the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga in southeastern Morocco — surrounded by golden sand in every direction, with some of the highest dunes in the Sahara rising just outside. No roads, no buildings, no noise. Just desert.
Guests reach the camp by camel trek or private 4x4 transfer — both options are included, just let us know your preference when booking.
Located on the edge of the Sahara Desert in southeastern Morocco, the Erg Chebbi dunes are famous for their towering golden sand dunes, some reaching heights of over 150 meters. The area is known for spectacular sunsets, camel trekking, stargazing, and authentic Berber culture. For many travelers, visiting Erg Chebbi is the highlight of their trip to Morocco.
We believe tourism should benefit both travelers and local communities. That's why we work closely with local guides, camel handlers, musicians, drivers, and families from the Merzouga area.
By staying with us, you're helping support local jobs, preserve traditional Saharan culture, and contribute directly to the community that calls the desert home.
The Erg Chebbi dunes are among the most spectacular landscapes in Morocco. Rising up to 150 meters high, these golden dunes create the perfect setting for an unforgettable Sahara experience. Staying overnight in a luxury desert camp allows you to experience the desert at its most beautiful moments—from the golden light of sunset to the silence of the night and the breathtaking colors of sunrise.
Unlike day trips, an overnight stay gives you time to truly disconnect, enjoy authentic Berber hospitality, and experience the magic of the Sahara at a slower pace.
We arrived by camel just as the sun was going down and the dunes were completely golden. The tent was far more comfortable than we expected — a proper bed, a hot shower, and a real bathroom inside the tent. Dinner was delicious, and sitting around the fire afterward with the Berber music going was one of those evenings you genuinely don't want to end. Worth every penny.
We came with two young kids and were slightly nervous about the desert camp, but it was brilliant from start to finish. The family tent was spacious and comfortable, the staff was warm and patient, and the kids loved the camel ride in. The sandboarding the next morning was the highlight for them. The stars that night were something none of us will forget.
I was traveling solo and wasn't sure what to expect, but this completely surpassed anything I'd imagined. The camp felt genuinely remote — no noise, no light pollution, just dunes in every direction. The dinner was the best Moroccan food I had on the whole trip, and falling asleep to total silence after the campfire music was something else. One of the best mornings of my life.
