We are a local family-owned business based in Merzouga, and the Sahara is our home. We take care of our guests personally and want your desert stay to feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely Moroccan.
Your desert experience usually begins in the late afternoon. After arriving in Merzouga, you can leave your vehicle in our secure parking area and prepare for your journey into the dunes.
For the classic Sahara experience, you will ride a camel across the golden sands of Erg Chebbi. The trek takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the pace and the time of sunset. As you travel deeper into the dunes, the sand changes colour from golden yellow to orange and red.
When you arrive at camp, we welcome you with Moroccan mint tea. Take some time to settle into your tent, have a shower, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Dinner is served in our restaurant tent, with traditional Moroccan dishes such as tagine, salads, bread, and fresh seasonal food.
After dinner, gather around the campfire for Berber music and traditional drums. You can sit by the fire, talk with other travelers, or simply enjoy the quiet atmosphere.
Then comes one of the best parts of the experience: the desert at night. Away from city lights, the sky over Erg Chebbi can be incredibly clear. On a good night, you can see thousands of stars and, when conditions are right, the Milky Way.
In the morning, we recommend getting up before sunrise. Watching the first sunlight reach the dunes is one of the most memorable moments of an overnight stay in the Sahara.
After sunrise, return to camp for breakfast before heading back toward Merzouga by camel or 4x4.

We arrived by camel just as the sun was going down and the dunes were completely golden. The tent was far more comfortable than we expected — a proper bed, a hot shower, and a real bathroom inside the tent. Dinner was delicious, and sitting around the fire afterward with the Berber music going was one of those evenings you genuinely don't want to end. Worth every penny.
